As in the past year, these conferences allowed participants to learn more about the situation in which other countries of the European Union are located in relation to dependence, and more specifically in the area of Alzheimer's. Care for the elderly and the work of associations

The attendees were also able to know through Javier Yanguas, from the Matia Foundation, what future perspectives are in the care and intervention with the elderly. Coupled with this, three experts at the Galician level held an interesting debate on the relationship between diet, aging and dementia.

It was also time to present the three working groups of FAGAL professionals, who are developing specific manuals of care for people with Alzheimer's in occupational therapy, social work and physiotherapy.

And finally, the Catalan company InCiTe delighted the attendees with a theatrical conference on sexuality in old age and alzhemer through different myths of the history of cinema.
