Why volunteering?
FederaciónAlzhéimer Galicia was created in 1998 with an specific goal: joining forces with all existing associations in Galicia to get more and better resources, more studies to research future Alzheimerand neurodegenerative dementia treatments and to improve the quality of life of people with Alzheimer’s as well as their families’.
That union caused the net’s growth as a federation and reinforced our job in favor of people with Alzheimer’s and their families. For this reason, our philosophy is based on cooperation and coordination to make each other’s lives easier.
This is where YOU come in! If you are committed, empathetic and motivated to help people in need, this is your place. You can sign up for our volunteer roster through this form and we will deliver it to the closest association so they can contact you and let you know about what volunteer activity you could execute. This depends on the association's needs and the project they are currently carrying through.
