Galicia en Común seeks to learn about dementias in a meeting with the Galician Alzheimer Federation

The Federation gave them a dossier and a document of demands, and they spoke of the need to implement an Autonomous Dementia Plan

During today, Juan Carlos Rodríguez Bernárdez, president of the Galician Alzheimer Federation, held a meeting with Eva Solla, head of the list of Galicia en Común for Pontevedra in the elections to the Galician Parliament.

In this meeting, Eva Solla sought to approach the situation of people with neurodegenerative dementia and their families. Along these lines, various issues were discussed, such as the current situation in which they find themselves and the need to urgently implement in Galicia an Autonomous Dementia Plan that helps to mark a way forward in this field.

On behalf of the Federation, it was given the presentation dossier, which contains its history and the programs it has in development, and the document of demands for the improvement of the quality of life of people with Alzheimer's disease, their families and caregivers.
