INTERDISCIPLINARY DAY
Just like every year since 2003, Federación Alzhéimer Galicia organizes an Interdisciplinary Day aimed at professionals from the social and health care sector who are specialized in dementia. The purpose of this event is showing the models, strategies and good practices that have been carried out not only in our territory, but also in other countries in order to improve the quality of life and care of people affected by Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative dementias and their families’. At the same time, this event helps creating communication ties between different countries and entities. In the last editions, this event took an international turn with countries like Portugal, United Kingdom, France, Portugal...

SPECIALIZED TRAINING ON NEURODEGENERATIVE DEMENTIA AIMED AT PROFESSIONALS
Federación Alzhéimer Galicia, as well as federated organizations, provides specialized training on Alzheimer's and other types of dementia for professionals who already work in their entities and for future professionals from the social and health care sector in order to gaining theoretical and practical knowledge and learning a work methodology that improves the quality of life of people with dementia and their families’.
